Journeying from Delhi’s urban hustle to the serene beauty of Manali has become swifter and more enjoyable. The inauguration of the Sundernagar-Kiratpur four-lane highway has significantly reduced the travel time, making it a 10-hour smooth drive.

Sundernagar-Kiratpur Four-Lane: A Game-Changer for Commuters

With the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) opening the Sundernagar-Harabagh to Kiratpur section, the drive between Delhi and Manali has been transformed. This new route trims down the bus travel duration by two hours, a substantial improvement for travelers.

New Routes and Convenience for Travelers

The Transport Corporation has rerouted several buses to leverage this new highway. Luxury buses now travel via Bilaspur, Goni, and Swarghat, bypassing the previous congested routes. Additionally, these buses utilize the Ner Chowk bypass, effectively evading traffic snarls.

Passengers heading to Ner Chowk can opt for alternative routes through Dadaur village in Mandi district. The luxury buses from Manali to Delhi, Chandigarh, and Haridwar have also adapted their schedules to incorporate this faster, more efficient highway.

Manali in Winter: A Mesmerizing Destination

Beyond the benefits of the new highway, Manali during winter presents an enchanting world. The town, nestled by the Beas River and surrounded by snowy peaks, offers an array of winter sports in Solang Valley, from skiing to snowmobiling. The natural hot springs like Vashisht and Manikaran add to the allure, providing a unique mountain retreat experience.
